Additional information

When collecting the application form, the client also needs to reserve its business name. Reservation of business name, literally means you will be getting a business counselling with an Officer In Charge (OIC) to ensure that the Business name you wanted to register is not already in use (not in the business registry database system). If that particular business name is already in the system then you are required to provide another unique name that is not already in use. Upon acquiring a unique business name that's not already in use, you will then need to discuss the nature and scope of your business with the OIC so that he/she will be able to advise you. Upon completion of business counselling you are required to fill in the application form and provide supporting documents. Hence, the final result for this step is an original Application form for Business name registrations and business counselling with the OIC.
