If the premises is found to be in compliance to the conditions set out in the Establishment for export of pet fish (this information is available at Fisheries Office Kiritimati) and in compliance to the regulations that influences the rules to get approval then a process will be made to grant approval. Please note that this decision was made not solely by the Fisheries officers in Kiritimati but also has to be sent to the Headquarters in Tarawa for further information and final approval so it might take a while to receive the grant of permission. On the other hand, if the premises is found not in compliance to said conditions the owner will be given a last chance to adjust and improve in order to be in compliance and get final approval. Upon getting approval, only then will you be given a Pet Fish Export application form to fill.
