Application letter for a lease (original)
Waiting time to the next step of obtaining approved land lease may take a while since it depends on final decision made during Cabinet meetings. Although Cabinet meetings are carried out on a weekly basis, issues addressed and discussed during such meetings are not limited only to Land lease approvals and so this results in a prolonged waiting time until getting approval/rejection of commercial land lease applications. Application letters submitted to Land Managment Division Kiritimati will be sent to MELAD headquarters in Tarawa, such process may result in an even longer time frame to wait until getting approval noting the means used to submit these documents to the headquarters.
